The Town of Sirsúm is situated on the Sakbe road that runs east from the Tsolyani city of Hekellu. The population of the town is normally around 6 - 7,000 but this has varied greatly in recent years. Much of the town is run down and both the town walls and the sakbe roads are in poor repair.
